Welcome — I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for therapy is a courageous first step, and whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Through Peace of Mind Psychotherapy, I provide professional psychotherapy services for adults, couples, and teens (12+) across Ontario. I offer in-person counselling in the Niagara Region, including Niagara Falls and Port Colborne, as well as virtual and phone sessions to make therapy accessible and flexible. Walk-and-talk sessions are available in Niagara.
Why I Became a Therapist
My path to becoming a therapist began in social service and community programs, where I worked with individuals navigating homelessness, substance use, trauma, domestic violence, and justice involvement. I facilitated Partner Assault Response (PAR), Caring Dads, and Anger Management groups, and saw firsthand the gaps in accessible mental health support.
I wanted to become a psychotherapist who helps people get “unstuck,” move forward, and see their own potential. Today, I focus on helping clients feel motivated, encouraged, and empowered to take control of what they can, while building resilience and meaningful change in their lives.
Who I Support

I work with adults, couples, and teens (12+) experiencing:
- Anxiety and overthinking
- Depression and low mood
- Stress, burnout, and overwhelm
- Emotion regulation difficulties
- Grief and life transitions
- Self-esteem and confidence challenges
- Relationship difficulties, including communication, conflict, and boundary-setting
My Approach
I take a collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach. I meet clients where they are, listening carefully and adapting my approach to your pace and needs. Sessions can be structured and goal-oriented, or flexible and reflective, sometimes focusing on practical tools, other times on exploration and growth.
I draw from evidence-based therapies, including:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
Motivational Interview
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
Gottman’s Method
Narrative Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
Strength Based Therapy
Grief Therapy
Attachment Therapy
I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to be themselves. I use humor when appropriate, challenge when needed, and always listen deeply to support growth and healing.
A Little About Me
Outside of therapy, I’m a proud dog person who enjoys playing the flute, gaming, and watching football. I also love traveling and exploring new places, which helps me stay inspired and bring a broader perspective to my work with clients.
I believe therapy can feel supportive, human, and flexible. Life can throw obstacles that shift our focus or motivation, and sometimes we just have a bad day — and that’s okay. In our sessions, you take the lead, and we focus on what matters most to you.
What You Can Expect
When working with me, you can expect:
- A safe and welcoming space for individual therapy, couples counselling, and teen support
- A strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and collaboration
- Personalized strategies for managing anxiety, depression, stress, and emotions
- Flexible, client-centered therapy tailored to your goals and pace
